ibml forms strategic relationship with Kofax in Europe, Middle East and Africa

BIRMINGHAM, AL, July 27, 2010 -- ibml, a leading provider of document scanning solutions, today announced the signing of a hardware reseller relationship with Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of document-driven business process automation solutions. The partnership gives Kofax and its channel access to ibml's line of high-speed document scanning systems in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
With the ImageTrac® Scanning Platform, Kofax will now have a complementary high-volume intelligent scanning offering to meet market needs for applications requiring in-line functionality and sorting. The partnership will provide Kofax with a best-in-class scanning solution for applications requiring superior paper handling, in-line recognition, sophisticated sorting, and a reduction in the manual handling of documents.
